We are rapidly approaching warmer days. This is a time of metamorphosis when it comes to our image and hair. One way to achieve a spectacular transformation is to extend and thicken the hair. However, the question arises, which method to choose to make the effect as natural as possible and at the same time tailored to our hair type.
First, we need to answer the question – what type of extension are we interested in – should it be something more permanent, or perhaps only occasional extensions come into play?
Spring and summer are a time of intensified outings, parties, occasional meetings, etc. Often for such grand outings, we want to look different. The biggest dream is a spectacular hairstyle – thickened or visibly extended hair.
In this case, it is worth trying one of three solutions:
Clip-in ponytails – the easiest way to achieve a modern and minimalist hairstyle with a long and thick ponytail. This is a hairstyle loved by all celebrities, and achieving it is extremely simple. To make the effect as natural as possible, choose a clip-in ponytail made of 100% natural hair. If we are interested in a more permanent hairstyle metamorphosis, the most natural-looking extension technique is the keratin method. It involves attaching thin strands of hair to strands of natural hair by bonding them with keratin. The attached strands have keratin at their ends, which, under the influence of heat from a special device – a welder – bonds, connects with the natural strand of hair. This method is barely visible and gives amazing results in terms of the naturalness of the effect. However, its disadvantage is the use of high temperature. Recommended for strong and healthy hair, not suitable for weakened hair.
Another method with an equally natural effect is the ring method, where special rings, made of copper, aluminum or bronze, are used to connect the hair instead of a keratin tip. Using a hair crochet, a ring is placed on a strand of natural hair, then a strand of hair extensions is placed inside and the entire structure is tightened. The plus – no high temperature effect on our hair.
Finally, a hair extension method that currently works best on the Polish market. We are talking about the sandwich method (tape-in). This method wins our hearts and gains the most supporters due to the excellent natural end result. However, let's remember that the key to this naturalness is the choice of high-quality, 100% natural hair strands, such as extendMe!.
This method is non-invasive and additionally recommended for people with even thin and weaker hair. It is currently the most delicate of all currently available hair extension methods. We can enjoy the natural effect for about 4-6 weeks. After this time, a hairdresser's revisit is necessary to pull up the tapes with natural regrowth.
What does this method look like? The hair strands are finished with very thin and imperceptible silicone tapes. It is on them that the extension strands are placed.
