Keratin Hair Extensions Removal, Reapplication & Care
How to take your keratin extensions out safely, form a fresh bond for reapplication, and keep them looking their best in between.
The EXTENSiONS remover is the first step to a clean, damage-free removal.
How Long Do Bonds Last?
her flow keratin bonds typically last 3–6 months, depending on your natural hair growth. We recommend scheduling a touch-up around the 3-month mark, once enough regrowth has pushed the bond noticeably away from the scalp.

Keratin bonds stay on your natural hair for months at a time, so what you wash and style with directly affects how long they hold and how healthy your hair looks underneath. Regular shampoo can be too harsh or too heavy for extensions — using extension-safe products protects both the bonds and your natural hair.
- Wash with extension-safe products. A sulfate-free shampoo and lightweight conditioner keep bonds secure for longer and prevent buildup around them.
- Comb carefully around bonds, starting from the ends and working up, to avoid catching or loosening them.
- Use heat tools on a moderate setting and keep direct heat away from the bonds themselves.
- Braid or tie hair loosely before bed to prevent tangling and matting around the bonds overnight.
