How to Protect Hair Extensions in Summer?
First, always rinse your hair thoroughly with fresh water after each stay in the pool or sea (i.e., in the shower). Hair extensions should not be left damp to dry on their own (especially in the sun) without rinsing off the salt first. Otherwise, the hair will be damaged and matted. If you plan to spend a longer time in pool water or in the sea, it is worth applying appropriate protection to your hair first – e.g., hair oiling treatment. Oiling your hair before bathing in water creates a functional barrier, and thanks to this, less salt or chlorine penetrates our hair.
Hair oiling involves applying oil to the entire hair, its ends, or the scalp. The purpose of the oil is to replenish deficiencies in the hair cuticles, restore hair elasticity, and their healthy and beautiful appearance.
