Strands are slipping or unraveling
CAUSE:
- Most likely, your natural hair was not thoroughly cleaned with an intensive shampoo.
- Before applying the bands, our own hair may have been brushed from the root, which closed the hair cuticle.
- The hair was damp when the bands were applied.
- The bands were not properly pressed together during application.
- The rules of proper care were not followed.
SOLUTION:
Remove all bands and redo the application using new tapes. Make sure that your natural hair has been properly and carefully prepared.
